Crown has been delivering environmental benefits to our customers for over 30 years.
Crown’s fuel catalyst products and technologies improve combustion efficiency by 8-12% on every deployment (for both mechanical and diesel-electric propelled equipment), which translates directly to reduced CO2 and other greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To date, we have prevented 4,330,000 gallons of diesel consumption and over 48,500 tons of CO2 from release into the atmosphere. In addition to GHG emissions, our fuel catalyst technologies also reduce the production and release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matter.
Our material handling products enhance operator health and safety by reducing fugitive dust, improve conveyor system performance and efficiency, reduce water requirements and usage, and limit material carryback in trucks and trains during winter months. In addition, they minimize the risk of spontaneous combustion of coal while stockpiled and during transport.
Crown’s water remediation products and solutions allow for the environmentally compliant discharge or effective reuse of wastewater. Our line of sump “slop” absorbents enable efficient removal, cleanup, and disposal of liquid wastes related to drilling operations.
